Start networking on Castar!
Our vision with Castar has always been to be more than just a platform for submitting to gigs. We understand how important it is, especially in the entertainment industry, to make meaningful connections and build relationships which is why we are extremely excited to introduce to you… Castar’s brand new NETWORKING feature!
HOW IT WORKS:
As a Talent member, you can now search through the entire Castar community and send connection requests to other like minded creatives. In addition, we’ve added an enhanced search feature allowing you to filer users by their name if you’re looking for someone you already know or by the talents listed on their profile. Once connected, stay in touch with old contacts while creating new relationships by using Castar’s in-app messaging system.
We believe that the timing for this launch could not be better considering the limitations and uncertainty we are all facing due to social distancing. Hopefully this will provide our users with encouragement and a new opportunity to continue growing their professional network as we all adapt to a new way of networking!
ADDITIONAL UPDATES:
NEW PROFILES – We’ve also given your profile a new look to showcase your media (photos/videos) as well as added a bio section so you can put more information about yourself and what you do! Be sure to update your “Work Experience” details as well by adding website links so others can have a better idea of what your expertise!
NOTIFICATIONS TAB – Last but not least, you can now track all of your notifications in one place on the gigs page (Castar “C”) by clicking the bell icon on the top right corner! This way you’ll never miss a message or pending connection request from someone new.
